250 say average install for above for the non wrenchers.

9490 for equivalant modded PD.

Got to have money to play with the big boys. Anybody with modded engines know what I mean. With Cam I got over 10K in my PD. I also had to buy Hign Rev Coils that come standard now.

Add piztons, connecting rods, roller rockers, and heavy duty push rods and you are looking at some big bucks.

I always though we were crazy. Cost per HP that we have invested is absolutely crazy.

Its an adiction guys.

Prodrive - 5870.00
Option Hyd- 1500.00
Manual- 475.00

As far as the price on the bigger mods ones maybe crazy but may also cost that much to mod a Gtr or prodive..

Yea I own a Mudbuddy 35hd and I like it for what I do.

I have to agree with Chaz, a Stg 1 GTR is $9495 with cam, heads, exhaust, & reverse plate. Add a carb kit & your're over $10k. The part that blows my mind is that nobody has mentioned yet that these guys want $4800 for a Weldbilt & trailer!!!

Ok...this may get confusing, but lets see if I can explain my thoughts.

I'm guessing that the price in this picture was originally for the 55hp considering they scratched it out with a sharpie and wrote 44.

Dealer printed his tag for the show and he didn't even know what he was going to get, probably why they wrote the sport v in too.

Could be right. They had one of those 5500 whatever the hell they call them. Dual Carb set ups there also.

Why don't they make a universal frame and outdtive to accommodate all the different HP engines.

How is that so crazy???? A stock PD is 6000 with manual reverse! 7500 with hydro! So, add the carb and exhaust on a hydro prodrive and you at 9000!!!

I will be the first to say, the first thing that will break is the transom!!! Surface drives do a good job at destroying those boats transoms...
