 Exhaust ??? I have a PD 27 with aftermarket heads, roller rockers and the bore has been punched. I'm running a stock carb and exhaust. How crucial is it I open the exhaust up??? Or upgrade??

Re: Exhaust ??? I bought the motor from Willet . I new it had head work , but didn't realize the block had been punched and the heads were aftermarket and it was a roller set up. Push rods are aftermarket as well. Just had valve reeds replaced and discovered all the aftermarket mods. All the internals are in great shape it seems like it restricted figured the exhaust needs to be gutted.

Re: Exhaust ??? Def want to open that exhaust up and let the air out. Not many options it seems though for a 27 block. May have to get one fabbed or gut the stock. many threads here for gutting stock exhausts.
