"Q" muffler on a GT?

 "Q" muffler on a GT?Trying to help a buddy out. Do the support brackets fit? Any other fit issues? Problems with no heat shield?

Re: Get a aluminum clutch cover if you can and it works great. You could also put a heat shield on the Q and it should be OK.

Re: yes they fit, they all bolt straight on the motor so no issues there, cant say for the heat shield i have an aluminum cover.

Re: "Q" muffler on a GT? Yea, he definitely needs an aluminum cover, already had one totally melt down this year in a fire on the way out one morning. Looked like the fucking Bat Mobile when one of the bolts on the caliper worked loose and got hot. That brake line melted down and sprayed fluid on the hot exhaust. BIG fire, lol
Too bad GT doesn't make any support products for their motors. Is anybody still making any covers? |
