Well, I finally picked the boat up from Gator Tail on Friday. I have to admit I was more than a little nervous on the way there Friday morning. I mean it’s hard to know how they are going to take your ideals of what you want and build your boat the way you want it. But it turned out perfect, actually way better than I could imagined. The attention to detail was outstanding. Bubba and all the main staff were gone hunting but everything went very well and you can tell they take a LOT of pride in their work. I did have an issue though. The motor with the aftermarket carb just couldn’t pull enough fuel to run wide open for more than a couple minutes without falling on its face. So after a quick and VERY informative call to Team Camo the problem was resolved with an electric fuel pump. You couldn’t ask for a better person to help you out when you got a problem! He dropped what he was doing to help me get back up and running. I owe you one Rob! Below are the stats and pics I have so far. Couldn’t be happier and now to get some tiller time before the SETX ride.

Been sometime back but my buddy was trying to get a modded motor and they told him he would have to take it, run it then bring it back for mods, but he was wanting a lot more than carb and exhaust.

That is correct MSM, you want the heads to be seasoned, you'll see alot better performance as the seats have had time to settle into the head, therefore once you mod they won't move. If you Mod brand new heads the seats will move on you, come unseated, start to leak. Maybe maybe not but a pair of seasoned heads will be a better recipe for head jobs as the heads have had time to break out of the newness
