He forced me!!! I was against it. That factory gunnel was the devil on this build.

Yea I like that boat, doesn' t your boat have almost a 45 degree angle cut down the side, like a single taper?

Yea my actual bottom is 46" at the top of the 45 it's 50" then crimps out to the same gunnel measurements as a 54" boat

the advantage to the angle bottom is that it will turn better than a true square bottom without tracking at low speed.
