Re: how will this boat run with a 27 PD I had that same hull with a GDLT 25. With just me (200#) it ran 24. With a three man load high teens.

Forgive the question but here in Virginia a skiff is fiberglass and has the word Carolina in front of it lol

Re: how will this boat run with a 27 PD It's not a good deep water boat. Very good in swamp and mud. I road it in cypress swamp in Louisiana. And it slides like a sum bitch.

Re: how will this boat run with a 27 PD i hunted out of that boat with previous owner several times. He had a 27 prodrive on it and with a bare boat it did about 23 mph. With his blind on it and 2 men and a kid it would do 16-17 mph. I really liked that boat. Yeah it would slide but nothing a lil tiller time cant take care of.
