Looks like you had a better season than me! I did shoot about 150 Canada geese so far this season and sometimes they come in like mallards...does that count?? lol

Yea mallardsx2 that counts lol i like the in your face action with the canadian goose hunting.
yea wguidry it was awesome man. ive done it one time before this year but we didnt kill as many. its completely different from hunting around south la. we hunted layout blinds which ive never done before and when those huge f*ckers come in they're in your face. def goin back and do it again.

Re: 12-13 duck season I shoot most of my geese on Rivers up here in the North. Field hunting is good in early season but when late season comes the rivers are were it is at. Field hunting pressure and competition is just too stiff. I dont like having to get up at 2AM to beat someone to a field when I can use my boat and sleep in till 5 and get on a river and whack the birds and not to mention I dont have to carry my gear into a field or worry about getting stuck or load 150 full body's into a trailer. I hunt with 15 goose floaters and 24 FF shells. WE kill a 4 man limit almost every time I got out.
Field hunting in September is fun though!
