 Bass fishing surface drive
I sold my bay boat last fall so it looks like I will be fishing the McDonalds Splash out of my Prodrive I am curious how many funny looks I am going to get from the"big timers" with their $60k bass rigs. Not that it matters

Lol, I could care less what they think. How bad azz would it be to win it out of a camo duck boat?

 Re: Bass fishing surface drive
I fished an inshore tournament in port a out of my old pro drive. Everyone in the gulf coasts looked cool, then me and my partner exited the boat lane to cross a flat wile everyone was still stuck in traffic!
People looked at is different after that.

 Re: Bass fishing surface drive
Me and my buddy was fishing specks in my 23hp long tail in this one spot wearing there ass out. They had about 3 or 4 other people trolling around us in there big fancy bay boats that weren't catching shit and here we are in my shitty lil go devil anchored in one spot catching one after another. It was the funniest shit I have seen the other guys were so pissed and couldn't figure out why we were catching all the fish.

Its kind of like riding around Orange Beach AL. in a Mud boat! Love the looks that you get pulling up to the sand bars or Pirates Cove Yacht Club!

 Re: Bass fishing surface drive
Doesn't matter how rough or out of place you boat looks as long as it looks like your having way more fun.
We did it in Queenstown in all the time with a chitty old ford and a rough old wooden boat, blazing hot day car bleaching smoke, white snake rattling peoples teeth out, launch the boat like a boss, pile of beer, turn one sterio off start the boat one and party on. Rich bastards hatred it especially if you snagged a daughter or 2 on the way out.

 Re: Bass fishing surface drive
No shame here, I know anytime I was at Rattlesnake island and a Mud boat pulled up I went to check it out. Even though they are more popular here on the coast my wife can't understand why so many people approach me to check it out. She always says " it's just a dang aluminum boat". She'll never understand
