 Speed
I have a 18x54 with hunt deck rod box and a dry storage box two batteries and trolling motor pushed by stock 35GTR and was wondering if 23-24mph sounds about right(thats running with two people and nuthing else).I would like to get a little more speed but don't really know what would be my best option, such as carb, exhaust ect.. I was thinking about adding carb and exhaust but don't know what carb and which exhaust. Thanks for any help.

 Re: Speed
also, what is the condition of your prop and how many hours are on it? You're close to the speeds you would expect from this setup.

The prop looks good and the boat was mad by shallow water customs

 Re: Speed
Maybe 100 rpm low, & 1-2 mph low, at most. That's a lot to ask of a stock motor to get that heavy setup 27mph with 2 guys & gear.
1st, exhaust 2nd, heads 3rd, cam or carb (I like cam) & if that's not good enough for you, 4th, whichever you didn't do 3rd
