I dump them in a goldenrod field and let the crows eat them.

We eat our fish.

We poke a hole in the air sac on Carp and put them back in the water. Thats what the DWR said to do with em. The cat fish eat em. Plus it's nice not having to haul them out.

I didn't know what the law's stand was on the disposal. I'd hate to get a ticket for shooting a bunch of shit fish.

We use them for crawfish or turtle bait in our taps.... When we have too many though the ditch monster is always hungry.

people round here pile them upin field and shoot coyotes a few days later

We stick em and throw them back. Catfish bait in Middle TN. Or chunk them up for trotline fishing

Trot line is a good plan.

I'd guess a bowfishing investment of say........2 grand,(if u already got the boat).....TO SHOOT TRASH FISH,still makes more sense than a 2 thousand dollar set of golf clubs.

leave the carp laying and break the snouts off the gar with channel locks no one i know eats carp... the only thing i let go to waste from the wild

And yeah those things are vicious looking. the fact that their so hard to hit (average gar up here is about 2') makes it worth the while when you snap their snout.

We've got some pretty good sized needle nose gar down here. Some about 4-5ft range.

My buddy got one on lower end of Cherokee lake that was a hair over 4ft. But that's a unicorn lol

Sheepshead aint that bad to clean if you cut it right and for the gar we had some 4+ footers...

The one closest in the picture was right at 5', decent for an old long nose.

Well that escalated quickly.

We've caught 4 footers cat fishing. My buddy shot a five footer in the little river with buckshot. Let the weather warm up and I'll see what I can stick.

Can't wait for the ice to melt here. Love to stick those dam carp. We can't legaly shoot any other fish here.

We eat ours or give them away but we shoot Tilapia (Nile Perch) so there is always someone that wants them. We usually 20 to 40 a trip so giving them away is a must. We do occasionally shoot some gar or mudfish but they stay behind for the crawfish
