 PD Squeeze Throttle Mod Requested on another thread, here's my PD throttle conversion...
$10 Cycle Gear generic brake lever
Moved the control box forward and extended the tiller so I can stand further away from the transom. This was necessary before I split the rear bench seat, now it's just a good idea.
Got rid of all the springs and crap that linked the throttle to the carb, took a little dicking around but now it's all good. An electronic rev limiter replaces the mechanical governor.

Re: PD Squeeze Throttle Mod Just for the guys that don't plan to run the mikuni or a rev limiter, Will the cable end you used connect directly to the gov bracket? I run 10 miles from venice marina to my camp and like not having to hold a lever. Just my preference, Ive owned two with a lever. But It's a nice mod for those who want that.
