I had gutters on my last boat and hated them. It was a pain to get cane/grass/hulls etc out of them. Going with a fully welded floor this time I never Had a boat with catwalks before but I like the idea. I put a deposit down to have me a custom boat built yesterday, I'm going with 4" catwalks and planning to put strip lights underneath. Also think I'm gonna have flush mount rod holders in built in them, maybe 4 per side. After reading these comments I may go even wider with them

I hate the gutters on my boat. Not a big fan of how GT designed the gutters on my boat. They should have left more space between the side bracing and the hull....there is about .125" tiny little hole to let shit drain and it gets plugged with shit and doesn't drain worth a shit and water is always freezing in the boat. Thats the only complaint I have about the boat.
