Re: My newest Project J I have a friend that used 8" galvanized perling to build a similar camp. He had a lot of flex with the perlings. It's better since the camp is built but there is still some flex. Just fyi let me know if u want to take a look at it let me know.

Re: My newest Project Thanks for the offer. This is actually my 4 floating camp. I started out on Styrofoam, then next was Butane Bottles, the rolled iron sheets to make pipe, and now this. The square takes most of the rocking out. Especially once 2x10's, deck boards, and 3/4" tongue and groove is put on top.

Re: My newest Project Happy Anniversary Scott.. Time flys!! Our invitation to your wedding is still on the side of our fridge. LOL.
We will be standing up walls next Saturday. Everything is coming together nicely. Think I got my hands on a 13kw diesel generator. I already got the septic system, and central air and heat. 5 new bunk beds with mattresses. My wife is using this camp or an excuse to buy new living room furniture. So, looks like the camp will have my current living room set. Also, I'm going to take bed room set out of guest house for my master bedroom. Spare bed room will have 2 sets of bunks. Other three will be in loft.

Re: My newest Project Originally it was going to be motorized. But then my septic system had to be USCG approved instead of just State of Louisiana Approved. $1500.00 for State Approved. 4500.00 for USCG
So, I'll use the 3k savings and put into camp.
