 9/12 Teal Opener
Went out this morning with two buddies. Rained pretty much the entire morning, but we still got some shots in. If shooting was a little better we should have had our limits. Scouted yesterday and found some good concentrations of birds. Did not see near as much this morning. Hunted till about 9:30 then it started pouring rain so we called it a day. Ended with 8 birds. Sure was nice to get out.

 Re: 9/12 Teal Opener
We got 3 limits Saturday morning here in AR by 7:30. Saw lots of teal. I have no doubt we could shot 4 or 5 more limits if we had more folks with us. We had groups of 10-12 hitting the water in the decoys every few minutes. Every teal was shot in the decoys or trying to get out.

 Re: 9/12 Teal Opener
Great pics guys! I hunted Norco, LA area and ended up with 6 (between 2 guys). I didn't enjoy the rain but I did enjoy watching summer mallards work my decoys the entire morning!

 Re: 9/12 Teal Opener
it was so slow & i was cursing my myrtle grove lease, saying this season i'll be hunting much, much more farther north, maybe north mississippi...at least we caught a couple of reds, right out of the pop up......this damn lease stinks...
then....
then....
then... a flock comes in to save the whole damn weekend. no limits, but we lost one (no dog), so 6 of 8 possible & 5 in the boat/on the grill - ain't so bad for me. ps - weather man was wrong, wrong - sunny day
