Post Help with bowfishing rig
I have built some rails and want to order some LEDs. I want to know how many can I hook up to 1 deep cycle battery. I would like to use the same battery as my motor. I have a gtr the marine engine. I believe it has a 50 amp stator.

Until you know what led's you want, we can't help you. The different sizes draw more or less amps per hour.

One 50 watt will draw 4.16 amps (50watts divided by 12 volts = amps) You could probably hook 4 (16.64 amps) to the same battery as the motor and won't have any issues. More than that and you'll have to run around to get the charging system higher to make up the difference. I'm not an expert but I think that's right...

You are right but id be careful with that, if you leave your motor off for too long you might not have enough juice to start it lol. i would look into gettin a high ah battery, you can get a 100 ah for around 150 dependin on battery.
