Last week I made on Louisiana sportsman offering info to any hunters that draw tags for the alligator season where there are numerous 10-14ft alligators on the pearl river wildlife management area, I know this cause I worked for a swamp tour company in that area, not these alligators are on the wildlife management area and are up for the taking during the season, for unlnown reason one of the moderators/field editors removed my post and gave me a warning and warned me about making posts about "hunting these alligators" see I always thought what's on the management area is available to take by the general public with properly drawn tags, but these swamp tour companies act as if they own the gators out there, and I know for a fact that one of the part time managers of this said swamp tour who claims to be a avid hunter/fishing guide goes out there at night after tours during the alligator season and cuts down the other alligator hunters lines to keep people from catching those alligators, I thought on Louisiana sportsman you could post info on hunting/fishing hotspots/tips for everyone to see, I'll never make another post on that site again....

Fair game is fair game, if you drew tags I guarantee you'd wanna know where these alligators are

Just wondering. Everybody knows where their at already, but most don't post 'em up on the internet. Same with ducks, especially on a WMA.

They catch tarpon in lake pontchartrain certain times of the year so it's possible

I could post a picture of 4 greenheads a Eurasian wigeon and a Chinese mandarin duck and 2 specks and 4 snows and a trumpeter swan and say I killed them in Pointe aux chenes and 73% of the male population of LSU's fraternities would be out there the next weekend.

And the mandarin duck was banded..

They actually had a guy on sportsman this past season that shot one of those mandarin ducks in the montegut area, I've never heard of a Eurasian wigeon though, anyone got a pic of one ?

My taxidermist has 2 Chinese mandarin ducks in his office.....man those things are beautiful!!

two years ago me and my buddies shot into a group of woodies and one of the ones we killed was a mandarin,, sure are pretty, had to get it mounted! that's in West Tn, had to have been somebodys pet that got loose
