I am looking to purchase a 25 gtr gator tail and mount it on a new trackor grissly 1448v. the transom is 16" high is that too low?
my purpose will be duck hunting in shallow lakes and fishing year round

16in is the standard trasom height. It should be fine a true mud hull will out run it hands down. But everyone has to start some where.

You can do whatever you would like its your money, but I would have to advise against buying the grizzly all together. You can run a true flat bottom mud hull that is .125 gauge with a modified v that will not affect your performance negatively and still have the vee in the front you are looking for.

It doesnt make sense to buy the wrong boat for the motor if you are buying new. If you already had the boat and it was going to save you some coin then yes but you will tear that boat up quick and have to buy another.

It is practically new. 20hrs on whole rig. Took delivery on it at first of Feb. just ask around. It will fly.

Dude it all comes down to what you want, your not gunna get any straight forward answers on here, just opinons of what people like and have had experiences with. Do like i have done RESEARCH. i have done my research and decided on my own that im gettin a custom 19x48 boat built with a brand new 35GTR on it. Found a builder on LA sportsman. sky is the limit

what is the top dollar you will spend on a complete rig,thats trailer, boat and trailer. let us know your top dollar and then you may get a lil bit better help

but i have a trailer. i would not spend over 2500 and i know that is cheap for a custom build
