 kubota rtv500
i sold my boat not long ago, needed the cash. Paid for what needed to be paid for (new lease among other things).
I got a super good deal on a RTV500 and was wondering if any of you hands know much about them. Interested in getting a little bit more out of top end and hell was thinking what better place to ask than here. I know it is no mud motor but i don't need a boat this year, got flooded timber, rice, and beans on this ~800 acre lease, hence the kubota.
so right now this is my "mud motor project"

 Re: kubota rtv500
Since they havent been out that long theres not much i know about them. I have been seeing more and more of them on trailers around here. Buddy of mine bought one and its real nice from what ive seen. I have the RTV 900 diesel but that thing is slow as a tank.

 Re: kubota rtv500
we have one of the diesel 900's on the farm that i work on. they are pretty slow, and the most annoying thing is the 900's have a hydrostat pedal so when you let off you better be ready to stop. im not sure if the 500's do or not. i think they will pull bout anything that you hook to it. i know one day i hooked to a creep feeder that had bout 3 tons of feed in it.....pulled it with no problem. as far as mud, i try to stay out of the bad spots because it is so heavy unless you put some pretty aggressive tires on it you might be ok.
