 Uncle J 1854 loaded
Finally got this boat tuned perfectly. Played with the CG Seating storage etc. Coated it with steel flex last week. Wow what a deference trailering on/off etc.
Used steel flex on my last boat but this boat really needed it. Anyways todays numbers.
7:30 AM Florida everglades with "Glades Runners" best friend Flaco. Great dude !!
Two big Dudes, 12 gallons of fuel and a cooler full of water, beer etc. Headed in towards the primary canal. Boat maxed out at 27 mph. Headed inward toward the trails 3-4' of water boat was running 26 mph. then hit the shallow 1' water/4'mud boat was doing 26 mph. Mostly trails with sharp turns so we did not run WOT all the time.
Finally mastered the turns. Eliminated most of the hydro sliding and actually used it to my advantage as I approached the turns.
I 35 gtr is extremely efficient with this hull. Weight distribution is awesome. The open design is great. I highly recommend the open design.
Managed to miss a turn and landed on a mud flat. Once again the 35 GTR pulled our dumbs asses out of it.
This Uncle J boat is absolutely awesome. I was worried that I over built it. Used 7 stringers and 3/16 bottom and deck tops.
Thank you Uncle J and gator tail !!!

That is a slick boat. The flex made my humble grizzly hull drift at first but sure helped with crossing the veggies and any mud- also helped trailering boat. Flaco found out the hard way you have to keep the boat clipped on the trailer- he probably told you it slipped off and flattened his bung hole- Anyway, hope to see you teal season!

 Re: Uncle J 1854 loaded
Steel flex is the best. Loading and unloading is a breeze. Run a lot of grass. glides over that shit.

Running the everglades to dial in boat. Hunt mostly lake O. Everglades is mostly ringers. Place sucks for duck hunting. Also lots of coral rock under that mud.
Need to be careful in the glades. Trying to learn new areas north of lake O for this year.
