I know that a lot of members are also active duck hunters. Im posting this for a friend who is a part of Flying Aces guide service, operating here in east Texas and also central Oklahoma.

They are putting on a duck calling contest at Gander Mountain in Tyler, this Saturday, October the 10th. Registration starts at 9 and will end around 10 or 10:30. The competition is only individual mallard meat, but you have the option of competing in the Guide Class or the Hunter Class.

The prize packages are supplied by Gander Mountatin, and were prety good last year. It was a nice blind bag filled with shells, calls, and other waterfowl gear and a $100 gift certificate for 1st place, $50 for seconds, etc.
