How the hell does some Ahole get away with macing a dog on the other side of a fence? I say don't say another word about it, find out what day he comes to read the meter again and be ready with a can of mace!

I work for a utility. Go in back yards daily, in every hood (black or white) you can imagine. I carry pepper spray. Not one time in 13 yrs have I ever used it. I just knock on the door and ask. And if the person is not home, you'd be surprised how a 6' fiberglass layup pole will scare off a dog.

If the dog is absolutely mean, I simply return the job. "No access, dog in yard."

I would lay in wait next month and when the meter reader came in the back yard through a closed gate id be ready with a big ass can of bear pepper spray and hit that fukr with a big ass blast from 20 foot.....dont care if its the same reader or not.....dont come through a gate without announcing you are coming.....benefit of the doubt would go to home owner since an unknown entered through a closed gate without permission or announcing their intentions.....it will change their policy. ...

Why arent meters hooked to the net so that we dont need meter readrrs anymore? I would request that the energy service provider provide a wireless metrr for you.....you coukd prolky get a restrainig order against the meter reading company also, especially since he sprayed dog through fence when he was not in danger.

CCI HR department head called me yesterday, she assured me that in no way it this acceptable behavior, both spraying my dog from outside the yard and getting into it with me. they will be hooking up the house so there will never be another meter maid in our yard. we do levelized billing too so im not sure why he was needing to read the meter anyway. also they sent someone by to get all the footage i had of this. Mr Bryson Dixon gonna have alot of explaining to do . entergy HR will be contacting me on monday. ill keep you all in the loop on what happens
