WMA are doing the same thing. They are buying all of the maurepas/pontchatrain basin and not allowing airboats for access. Airboats are the only way of accessing the interior swamp. Not to mention have a huge cultural signifacance to south louisiana. I feel the state should allow them in certian areas to offset the limited access areas. Somthing like the system they have setup in Florida

Someone needs to take his orriginal post and put it on LSM, Duck hunting chat, and the others with the phone number to his office so we can get everyones oppinion on this.

Seems like a tender spot may have been poked. How do you think your colleagues would feel about this great idea. I know several attorneys and judges in Lafayette Parish that love to duck hunt. I hunted with a couple of them on their private owned/ leased land last year.

Thank goodness there are laws that protect our property from idiots like this.

I hereby apologize to any judge who has a duck lease, especially those before whom I currently have cases pending. I would exempt all of your leases form my proposed legislation because you deserve to have them just for yourselves.
