 Blowout on platform
Any of you offshore guys listening to the VHF? Blowout being broadcasted out of USCG New Orleans but I didn't catch the location

 Re: Blowout on platform
appears it may have been a gas cloud not smoke. The word I have from radio traffic is that 44 POB and all 44 embarked on support vessel nearby safely. Increased rotary aviation ops in the area but nothing further yet.

Thank goodness everyone got off of it safely. That could have been bad. One ignition source and its over!
