Also everyone is saying how expensive g&h are. 119 a dozen. All the other are around 59-69 for 6 decoys.

Ducks decoy just fine to those ugly ass G&H, a lot of new decoys out there are designed to decoy hunters as well as ducks. Like DDM said I've been decoying birds in over paintless GHG dekes the past few seasons, the birds don't know they don't have paint but I do.

I like the G&H feild markings they look good from a way off , they don't look like a picture perfect painting of a duck.

Ghg look really good as far as paint but they barely make through a season I have a dozen of the first carry lite that came out the big ones and they are pretty awesome 4 years and paint is still holding up but don't shoot one they just explode

x10 on the Herter's. I just wish I would've bought a few more dozen of the Milleniums before they quit selling them.

I wish I had a whole spread of herters dekes too. Especially their diver decoys for big water.

Post Re: G & H decoys
honestly the newer ones are painted up way better, we literally use some that are older than I am. they may not be as pretty , but the 15 dozen ghg pro grades I got already started looking like shit about 1 year after buying, we decoy just as many on the ugly ones, seems about the time a mallard realizes he just landed with some ugly ducks , he got steel shot headed his way.. I no doubt like the ghg stuff but I've got around 20 decoys that the keels are broken and bottom of decoys are cracked and won't even float. I found about 14 old g&h decoys after the river flooded that looked like black ducks , Idk how old they even are. but ain't within 10yrs, and we use them as blacks in our spread.

We call it the coot scootin boogie when we open up on a flock of them. Funny watching then bumping their ass on the water trying to get away and you know they're thinking what the heck nobody shoots us
