 MMT
Does not Suck. I still like MMT and most of the guys here" unless you voted for Obama". And I do believe changes will happen for the better.
Just wanted to get that out. Now I feel better.

 Re: MMT
I would like to personally thank everyone for their support over the past few days. For the record I have no problems with any other mudmotor related site out there and I wish nothing but the best for the owner(s). They will soon find out what I go through trying to keep everyone happy, it ain't easy but I try my best because we have some good people here at MMT. It was said on another forum that the gates to MMT are wide open to any and all. Well guess what, they sure are. Does anyone expect me to just have it for only a few? Newsflash, everyone on here was a newbie like all the folks that ask all the beginner questions we see all the time on MMT. It's life. You don't know anything until you ask questions and learn from them. MMT is still as strong as ever and growing everyday. There's not a site out there with so many members with so much knowledge of mudmotors on the planet and that will always be the deal. I'm sure that MMT has been responsible for the inflow of hundreds of thousands of dollars into all mudmotor manufacturers' bank accounts. That's pretty significant. It's up to each and every one of us to make MMT even better. MMT will always be the place to be to shoot the breeze or find out what's going on etc., etc., etc. MMT . . The best damn mudmotor site on the planet! And yes, we do need some cooler smilies

 Re: MMT
It doesn't suck, but some of the newer guys (sometimes I am guilty myself) post crap that is stupid and not revelant to the topic. Personally there are guys who have posted more in the last six months than I have ever. (I have been a member since the proboard days, if anyone can remember those.) To me there needs to be one of two things that needs to happen. 1. Can't have more post than hours on your MM. (To many guys giving "expert" advice with < 100 hrs.) 2. Get rid of the post count because I think some post just to reach the higher number of post.
P.S. There is only one PTNU. And he know who it is and I called him on it. The rest are NU.

 Re: MMT
Ok. I understand what you are saying (not reading every thread) but I will break it down for the newbs.
This website was started for unbiased info and talk about MM. It started b/c a popular forum banned a number of us b/c we called BS when we saw it. So the proboards website was started, then MMT (version 1), then we upgraded to version 2 (present). When a post is made we (the old crew with version 1) stayed on topic with little OT. What gets old is the same people with their OT comments/coversations.
Personally a lot of the same questions are asked over and over (motor runs poorly, adjusting rpms, altenate fuel pumps, etc.). To me there needs to be a tech section that is put in the own forum for common problems or installs of products.
Some of the older guys (river, stumpy, DA, rail, Deltaduckmaster and others (sorry is I didn't post your name)) are pioneers in this MM craze and they don't post much (which sucks for the newbs b/c they have a wealth of knowledge) b/c, well I don't know why. Maybe b/c of the idiots that post BS, they don't have time anymore, or b/c they have other priorities.
About Muddi Gras, I respect DA and others for going out on a limb and trying to do something for all MM owners and it gets shot down by government employees, and most here don't even know what a great thing we had.
I am sure there is more to be said and I will defend what I say and answer any questions about what I said, but I'm tired of typing this long post.

Oh and what I said about the hours on the MM comment earlier, comes back to a basic common sense of " Shut up and listen to the experienced, instead of running your mouth".

 Re: MMT
New people needing info.Should not be a problem not everybody was born in a skiff with a MM on the back.It is the Dip shits who come on here and negro up people threads. When someone is trying to sell something it is put under a For Sale forum. It is not a chat forum.

 Re: MMT
Not that anyone has missed me but this thread states a lot of the reasons I haven't been on this site much in the last couple months.
When I first found the original MMT it was basically uncluttered information.I learned more about mud boats and motors from this site than I ever thought there was to know. Lately though it has seemed more like a Facebook type of deal where the kids went to talk about how drunk they got last weekend & argue about which one knows more about mud rigs since they have owned one for a couple weeks.
As I said before I haven't been on much this summer & I don't know exactly what is going on but if MMT is trying to purge some of the BS & clutter that's a good thing in my book.
