The ecoboost with a minor tune is putting out over 500lbs of torque....And doing so at 1500-1700 rpm....
Turbocharging does some amazing things!!!

Re: Gmc 6.2 That truck was made as an alternative to diesel power in a 3/4 ton truck. (The 8.1). I wouldn't consider it a "stock" v8. It pulls 10k as well as most diesels do.

Re: Gmc 6.2 I drove the 5.3 a couple weeks ago, then drove the 5.0 an hour later. I bought the Ford. Waxed my Dad's 5.3 like it was a 4 banger from a stop and go off a traffic light. He shit a brick and told mom he might be buying a different vehicle.

Re: Gmc 6.2 Keep driving y'all v6 trucks. I've driven a few. The gas mileage is shitty and they not impressive at all towing. Yeah they may be fast with the turbo. But who buys a truck to go fast. I just think they junk. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
