 Re: Gmc 6.2
Y'all don't know what torque is till u get over 1000lb ft. Then u got torque lol. Had 2 diesels that out down in the 1100 range, they would pull a house off its slab. Had a dmax with a stage 5 suncoast GMax that would run 12s in the quarter! Biilet input output shafts EFI live. Full exhaust, oversized injectors, aftermarket turbo, hell it ran like a bat out of hell even when it was stock, duramax with the 6 speed Allison is the fastest production diesel off the lot. Followed by ford then Dodge and so on.

 Re: Gmc 6.2
I come from an 05 l33 5.3l z71 (tuner intake and full exhaust) to the ecoboost now... Eco will pull harder than the gm 5.3l and 6.2l.. Mileage greatly depends on what gearing you got.. All these trucks are in the same mpg ballpark tho.. I'm gettin 16-17mpg mostly city with 3.55s, which is a lil moer than i was gettin in the z with the tuner and 3.42s. Should be seein what the livernois tuner does to the ecoboost in a few weeks... Heard noting but good reviews about em.
Having had both, and open to either, I don't think the differences are as extreme as its being made out to be. However the gms rear bumper step is a thumb down in my book

 Re: Gmc 6.2
Yes, the Ford Ecoboost peak torque is at the 1700-2000 RPMs and that's the only place that Ford shines brighter than Chevy/GMC. It definitely doesn't shine brighter in price tag that's for damn sure!!

 Re: Gmc 6.2
Well my buddys dummy gauge is ready 18.5 average mpg on his duramax and he claims you can get a tuner that programs it to get in the low 20s. But like I said I can buy a lot of diesel to compensate for the extra 20k for an Eco boost
