I have both they each have there place. Now if I was buying new GTR cause the reverse will get your ass out. Showed a buddy the other day how nice it is to be able to back out of creek that we couldn't get turned around in. I told him at first the reverse was broke so I made him use the push pole for awhile before I showed him how it would perform.

Never had a place that I couldn't turn my old mb around without a push or two but now that I have reverse I'm spoiled!!

It would of made one of those funny ass commercials for the reverse. I sit back there drinking water telling him how nice the reverse would be if it worked. He was the one that said hey go up this creek it opens up in the back well it didn't and we shouldn't of bust the little beaver dam holding the water in the creek.

I've never had a mud buddy. Just GDLT and my GT, and some outboards. But I can say this. I needed a bushing for my GT the other day, so I called and talked to the lady that answers the phones...she said I'd need to talk to Hoyt and took my number and he would call me back. A couple days later, he called...probably after hours too, it was around 5:30-6:00. I told him I needed the bushing, and while I had him I also told him I needed new prop shaft seals and a wear sleeve. He said no problem and said that someone would call me back in a couple days for more information, I assumed for payment info because he never asked anything about that. Anyways, I don't hear anything back from anyone over there, that was last friday...so I start wondering if my order got lost in translation somewhere. Well yesterday I get home from work, and what do you know...there's a box from GT on my doorstep with the bushing, wear sleeve, and the two seals (which are like 18$ a piece)...and they didn't even charge me for any of it. Jimmy W had the same thing happen recently, but the people over at GT don't know me from Adam, and took care of me no questions asked...that's what you call customer service...and I doubt you could get that kind of CS from out west. Just my opinion.

Boat Dr is good people, and I think Gtrax takes care of their customers too...but I'm just talking about dealing directly with the company itself...how the company handles business says a lot about them...and MB is lucky they have some good dealers.
