Went crabbing and scouting in the PAC reserve today and didn't see a duck one. Not that it will stop the hundreds of hunters that hunt that area, but spent the morning scouting around and pond hopping and didn't see any early teal. Seems it is still early, but with the season only two weeks away, I was hoping to see a couple flocks.

Ive always started seeing good numbers about a week from now.

Any luck on crabs. Seen a ton of ppl early. . Went fish and scout some also..

Everything we caught was too damn small. Lot of em though. Was that you in the gator tail with the pop up blind in the back cross canal fishing spoons? I passed with my wife and kid in the boat.

Dammit man. The big ones are in marsh I bet.. I dont have a blind on my boat. But was fishing with spoon around the dams for a lil while this morning..

By the time we got there we had to crab off the bank. Still caught more than the guys at the dam, but they were all small.

Better luck next time..that dam is hit or miss for the big ones.. I seen a boat doing ok in the canal with just that one camo in it before you get to the dam coming from pac.. ill be back out in morning working on blinds. Im sure they will have a gpod bit of ppl again..

We did real good Saturday with crabs in PAC on Grand Bayou. My mom and dad fished in another boat and they caught some

Been scouting the last two weeks here an aint seen a teal yet! Plenty of woodies but yeah maybe its a little early who knows!

I've been in Dularge the past 3 days. Seen 2 good groups of teal, that's it.

Seen 1 group of about 20 bwt while riding yesterday

Still a little early to see any big numbers close to the coast

We got a big push of teal into the state over the weekend with help from some north winds. Numbers in the marsh I hunted near for early goose about doubled over night. Saw thousands in the refuge and had bout 100 drop in the Decoys throughout the morning. The migration is in full swing here so shouldn't be too long before numbers show up for you guys.

Mexican wisslers are starting to show up around houma in some numbers, but that's abt. all I have been seeing. One small group of 6 teal couple weeks ago in Boudreaux. I get a little excited still hearing the whistlers overhead every afternoon though.

Saw three groups(15-30 in each group) that have not been around till today!
