 Re: Blind bag check list
Tree belts work great. Has about 4 hooks on a belt and that you wrap around the tree. Works good on anything but button willows!!

 Re: Blind bag check list
Usually a couple boxes of shells. Thermal blanket lighter, extra battery for my spotlight, extra gloves, knife, bug spray, therma cell, wine cork. (teal season only usually) full face knit hat (second split usually) Tp usually stays in the boat at all times as does a cane knife, and an extra can of bug spray.

 Re: Blind bag check list
2 boxes of shells Limb saw Extra gloves Batteries for lights Extra headlamps and small flashlights Decoy weights Roll of catfish twine Snacks (never enough) Bottled water TP Matches Multi-tool
Normally when I hunt from the boat, all the bigger heavier stuff is left in there. I use a small avery power hunter bag and it is just right for carrying in and hanging on a limb, most people get too big a bag and fill it up. Its like a gunbox, you'll fill it full of useless clutter till its full.

 Re: Blind bag check list
Everything related to the hunt part goes in the shell bag - shells, calls, choke tube wrench, Rem Oil, LED head light, extra set of batteries, face paint, Game strap, and a list of legal bags/limits. All else goes into a $10 wally world camo back-pack that is the do all (hunt/fish) - In addition to a lot of things already mentioned: Butt wipes ( they handle wet conditions better than TP, plus it works good to remove the camo paint) Smaller sized Tupperware container (not as easy to get crushed) of Nutty bars, PB crackers, and a Snickers Aspirin, Rolaids, Cough Syrup, and Imodium (you'll appreciate these more the older you get ) Emergency Mylar blanket Disposable Pancho Spare sunglasses in a case Several packs of "Hot Hands" Small Dry box with 2 lighters, band-aides, electrical tape, spare key to boat motor, spare plug for boat drain 2 wally world plastic bags to put my trash in and carry out... Sounds like a lot, but there is really a lot of room left over for quite a bit of the "non-essentials"

Shells,tp, multi tool, big bag of cookies. All the other stuff is in the dry box in the boat. I travel light due to long walks through knee deep mud/logs. I always ask my buddy if he's staying overnight becasuse he carries so much shit.

I use a hard plastic flambeau box. Takes heaps of gear and dont get to worried about stacking gear on it in the boat

 Re: Blind bag check list
I like the wet wipes, especially since I have young kids and usually have em around. I put a roll of ass pipe in a plastic coffee tub with lid. Works good in a pack to keep it dry and clean and in permanent blinds for the same purpose as well as keeping those mice out of it.
