 Re: Hey Boss Man Tony!!! The double posts are actually a glitch in the design of the software code used to build forum websites. Thread postings are a DB transaction based configuration. The 'submit' button has a weak spot whereas it doesn't 'lock' the button for further postings until the transaction has been written to the MySQL DB. So three things are working against MMT resulting in double posts:
#1 Weak code for submit button
#2 Slow server response write times
#3 Users ignorant to how a thread works are clicking 'submit' repeatedly because after the initial submit it is not returning the submit confirmation page instantly giving the appearance that it didn't go through.
