 New rogue
So finally got the new boat today. Here it is. 16x38 rogue, tall sides, tall transom, front winch, half box, and spud poles. Flipping it over in the morning to apply the gator base. Just wanted something simple and rugged without breaking the bank.
Going to put the 27 longtail on it for now till after the season to get a gtr

 Re: New rogue
You're gonna put the GTR Subaru in it, right?

 Re: New rogue
I weighed my 27 and its just over 200. Im gonna see how it sits in the water with that. I could never get a straight answer on what the Subaru weighed but if its close to the 35 I'm just going to get that. My other option is the 35 backH2o I'm thinking. Need big block power.

 Re: New rogue
I've rode in a Rogue 16HD with a 5000 and it would scat.
I'm sure the 35 will be okay. Should roll stock.

 Re: New rogue
There's a guy on TOS that has a 15hd with a 50" beam on his rogue to fit through dikes or bulkheads or something and he's running one of those 5500 MB's on his. Says he has a sport H 7000 on order for the boat. The boat is actually pretty big inside. Everyone says how small these are but it's actually got a lot of space inside it. I don't see having any issues with stability or safety.

 Re: New rogue
Got the winch in and fair lead on the boat today. Didn't wire anything yet. Still not sure how i'm going to set it up yet. Flipped it and put 3 coats of the gator base on it also. Got it in black. Got to dark for pictures by the time I cleaned everything up. Thanks for the comments. Appreciate it.

 Re: New rogue
Another update. Got the g2 done and the motor mounted. Starting the blind next. The boat is so slick now it won't stay on the trailer anymore. Need to get the guides for the trailer. Any recommendations for which ones are not total pieces of shit? Should have the winch wired up today too.
Thanks for looking
