Post ram mount gps bracket
Deltaduckmaster pointed out to someone one day not to mount gps on catwalk. He said that a branch could rip it off. So because I though that was a good possibility I used this. I can move it to all different places and quickly drop it down if needed.

Just got one with my new Garmin last week. Looks like yours will be some what protected but your grab bar also. Plus, with the ram mount, the way it swivels, you could leave it loose enough it will fold if it does get smacked.
