 27hp Kohler stutter with throttle movement I think this has been addressed before but i will go ahead and ask agian. How does one solve stuttering on a 27hp Kohler when the throttle is opened rapidly. Seems like it is flooding unless i open the throttle slowly. How do i fix this.

if i do advance the throttle slowly it runs great i get about 4300 rpm out of the water and it runs about 3800 to 3900 in the water on full step its just the low end power that its a dog

Re: 27hp Kohler stutter with throttle movement I have the same problem.If I go from idle to WOT it want to stall and then get up.After that it runs fine.But if I start giving it gas slowly it will run fine.Im thinking of getting a fuel pump put on it.But we'll see what they tell us.

Re: 27hp Kohler stutter with throttle movement The idle circuit runs slightly lean on Kohlers, you need to open it up a little bit.

Re: 27hp Kohler stutter with throttle movement Idle it up more is that what you mean.I idle out of water at 1200 rpm's and about 850 engaged in water.
