Sure has been a good one so far, usually down here in south ga north Florida, we mostly shoot ringnecks wood ducks teal and other various divers. Yesterday morning I took a friend of mine and his son, we had the best hunt I've ever had, knocked down 5 weidgon picked up 3 2 fell in sawgrass 8 feet tall and we couldn't find them, killed a pintail, gadwalls, Shovelors, teal and a few ringnecks.. Never killed so many puddle ducks in a hunt down here.

no jd, dont do much hunting on the coast, dont mind the saltwater but i dont want my shit to get all rusty, but i do alot of fishing down there we have a house near carrabelle.

I am looking at south ga. just north of tallahassee. I quail , duck and deer hunt. Fly fish for reds and what ever. How am I look so for places to play.

Great, the fishing is really good, we have a hells bay marquesa and fly fishing for reds is about all we do, i live in thomasville georgia which is 30 minutes north of tally, and we have monster bucks, good ducks dove and quail. but the quail is all wild birds on privately owned plantations, so its pretty much invite only, there is some preserve places outside of thomas county. Let me know when you get here my family owns 2 large retail stores 1 in tally and 1 in thomasville and we do mostly high end hunting and fishing gear mostly for the plantations, its called kevins fine outdoor gear and apparel.

I was spending so much money in Kevin's for a while, Kevin knows me by my first name. I shop the one in Tally and visit Thomasville every time we go near. There is a restraunt down the street from kevins I just love. The shrimp and grist are a killer. There are some sweet deals on property in the area right now. You can by 10 acrea and a nice home for 100,000-200,000. I got to get my home on the market this spring. I be up there Christmass, I may even haul my rig up there if i can find a hunting buddy.

JD, they're not thick here just yet, but the coastal shoots can be really good. We just don't get all the variety (in the quantities) as the more renowned areas.

We hunted Lake Seminole on the opener, first time I'd ever seen the place. I was impressed with the number and variety of birds.
