Me an a few buddy's go on a hunting trip once a year when my buddy/brother comes down on leave from the Marines. We usually do it as a thing to catch up an just get the old group back together. I have plenty of spots down here on the coast were i hunt but we always like to go on a road trip somewhere to one of the public forests or somewhere an hunt an never have any luck last. This year he said he really wants somethin to take home



so my question to yall is were would be a decent public place to go in late december for deer,hogs,an duck (preferably wood duck an green heads) i have a duck boat setup with mud motor so Thas not a problem. Just need some input an a type 2 license isn't a problem.

I just need to know decent public lands an i can go scout for duck their an scout for deer an hog place also all before he comes down i live in Galveston distance aint a problem prefer east tx tho
