20131129_124948.jpgI had the good fortune of hunting with my sons for the last 4 days of the Alberta deer season. My youngest sons harvested his first deer a Whitetail doe and also shot a Muley Doe. My older boy shot his first Muley buck and I was was able to take a nice muley buck and a doe as well. Good times with my sons, hopefully we have many more hunting seasons together.

Thank you for the congratulations I am happy to share the photos. I'm going to do a European mount on both deer. They are both nice deer but (don't hate me for saying this) if we had more time I'm very confident that we would have gotten bigger.
With only 4 days to hunt and no time to pre-scout I think we did great. Next year I think we are going to concentrate on getting Elk. Our seasons are all over with now except for a few limited entry draws. For all you with seasons still open or still to come good luck and have a great hunt.
