Has anybody did any duck hunting in duck lake or American lake yet and if so how are ducks there? Thinking about going put a blind up but don't have time to do any scouting do to work

u think if someone is hunting the lake an or if ducks are there they gonna tell u? U need to go out n check for yourself. We all work or most of us do at least

Ain't no duckies in the spillway this year.

The big ducks are rafted up in the middle of Lake Palourde because of all the hunting pressure at the Wax, Delta and Spillway. All you need is a boat blind and a dozen deeks. They will be raining in on you. Too much pressure has those birds staying far away from most large land masses and small water holes. They are in the middle of the BIG lakes now.

I was just asking. I heard people say there wasn't as much ducks there and just wanted a new place to hunt. I have blinds out but just want to go somewheres new.

Basin has been real slow. Ain't doing much good in there all season.

This is great news the ducks are back at Duck Lake. I have a houseboat on the lake. There ain't been shit there for years. Where is that sarcasm button.

Loaded with ducks on the north flats in Henderson. No birds in duck lake or American lake. Like shamu said they're are thousands in lake palourde this year.

We use to shoot a few ducks on the lake a few years back. Now we go to the houseboat a couple time a year to sit by the fire and get drunk. We might be there next weekend. If anyone is around, stop by and drink a beer or 12.
