I'm in, but I think we should go to tx bayou since it's nick name is the tiolet bowl when the tide is out and with a north wind there won't be any water xcept in the bayou

I am bringing my video camera....if I can figure out how to get the video on my computer I will post it on youtube. It looks like we are going to have about 6-9 boats is anyone bringing someone that is not a member on here?

I say we all meet at PN park first and then decide if we want to make a run out to Texas Bayou....I agree that there will be plenty of mud at Texas Bayou but hard to get everyone there. For those not familiar with the area Texas Bayou is about a 30 minute drive from the park so we can all decide when we meet up if we want to make that drive or not....Turbo dont forget to put gas in your truck if we decide to go to Texas Bayou (there are no gas stations in Sabine Pass)

if it were me i would launch at the acid ditch, you should have a key turbo,
at low tide there some good soft mud to run in the lil cuts to the left and right of acid ditch going out towards the river. then enter bessie heights from the gsu ditch straight across. just watch for the damn pipes in BH

This weather might have screwed me. I'll know in a lil while when I get to work. If the railroad got backed up today b/c of the weather, then I'm screwed and have to spend all night cleanin it up. Since I have to work again tomorrow night, if I get off too late, I'll be out. Even Superman's gotta sleep sometimes.

Well, that was a blast. Almost feel bad for y'all that didn't make it, almost. Hope Keestan can figure out his camera and upload the vids they took. Should be some good ones in there, too bad we didn't get his boat wreck on tape. How did the water feel Curtis?

Boat wreck?

Sorry I couldn't make it out there was way behind schedule picking up the rig at Gator-Tail.

Thanks to some quick reflexes on both parts, nobody got hurt. We did find out though that a Gator TRAX is tougher than a Gator TAIL. Keestan's new rig now has some "character marks." The G Trax didn't even get the paint scratched. Keestan was right in front of me when we went down the cut into the flat. As soon as he came out of the cut, another boat was coming straight towards him from a blind corner. What almost was a head on, turned into a side swipe. Both guys did an awesome job to protect the youngens in the other boat. Scary moment there for a while. Then one of the boys, about 6 or 8 yrs old, looked at his dad and says, "That was fun, Daddy. Can we do it again?" After a good laugh and sigh of relief, we got back to business.

Ya that was awesome, but I know I gotta get rid of the g trax and get another one. Can't wait on my new one to be built. Sorry about the boat man and for the record the g trax does have a battle scar. My boys had a blast but kept askin why we couldn't ride in tha mud like everybody else was. Wa wa Soon young grass hoppa, soon.

i really wish i coulda been there! we def need to get a ride goin in february when that water is really out, thats when the true mud flats become mud flats.

HOlly shat i had alot of fun with you guys riding and hanging out. went through some ruff spots with the gator but it sure did prove itself to me. STEVE told you i would help you out one day, now we are even. You get anouther hull and i'm sure you'll be able to run with us like you want too. Glad you and the boys are ok and they still had fun after the little mishap but hey it happens and you move right a long, glad no one got hurt. We will defifnitly have to do this again, alot cheaper to clean a boat then it does a fourwheeler or truck i'll say. Glad you guys from lumberton had a great time and eveyone else that showed.
