 Big or small ?
Iv gotta 15/48 alweld . Could I beef up my back end and put a 35 or just stick with a 27 PD or Subaru GTR. I'd like a bigger rig, I usually hual 3 or 4 guys on a long boat ride to my lease. Usually my marsh is ok to get into, but low tide can some times make it impossible to get to the blind. When tides to low we have to get out the boat and peroux 400 yards, not complaining just wanna me it a lil easier. What do y'all think ?

 Re: Big or small ?
You need a mud hull

 Re: Big or small ?
A dedicated mud hull, over 17 if you are carrying for guys and gear, would bed best. You could strap a mud motor to that boat, but you will never see true potential the motor has on that hull.

 Re: Big or small ?
I was thinking about outing more L brackets in the back and putting a pretty solid plate where the motor mount goes

 Re: Big or small ?
That'll work for a little while. But on that hull you got and the amount of torque these motors have, it'll end up breaking that transom. Isn't it .090?

 Re: Big or small ?
Transom on the boat is .100 but the side are .90 which is the weakest link

 Re: Big or small ?
You will destroy that boat pretty quickly, like most of us did with our first little rinky dink rigs.
