Post MIKUNI PROBLEMS WITH COLD WEATHER
When im getting on the throttle from a idle at about 3800 RPMs my motor seems to sputter then if i come of the throttle a lil bit it will catch back up to be able to use full throttle. Im running a 165 main jet with evt intake, heads, cam, timing advance, and exhaust do i need to put a e fuel pump? The motor does not miss a step when its not below 50 degrees.

You may ne experiencing Carb icing. If it is humid in your area it will add to the effect of the carb icing.

It might be a little on the lean side in the cold weather. Try a little bigger jet or a little more pump shot. Let us know what you find. Good luck

i know you cant do this with the mikuni setup but when it gets real cold here my motor will do the same...but i just turn the air filter box to where the air intake is facing down by the muffler and it gets hot air and no more problems...not sure what you could do with the mikuni setups i posted a question a while back seeing if guys were experiencing carb icing with the mikunis setups cuz i was considering ordering one. didnt really get any responses but here is the link
