While you slap nuts were talking tampons and whose mud motor is the bestest, I spent 10 days in Brazil knocking off one of my bucket list items.

Trip of a lifetime and even better I got to spend it with 7 good friends. Words can't describe the whole experience from the people to the landscape to the fishing. It was everything I thought it would be and more. Peacocks have to be some of the best top water fishing I've ever done. About the only thing I could compare it to would be trying to hook schooling yellow fin off the coast with a 7' falcon and 80 pound braid. Our group caught 8 fish over 20 pounds and took big fish honors 4 out of the 6 days. My 2nd peacock ever went 22 pounds on the first day, and I caught the biggest fish in the lodge with a 24. I'd rather be lucky than good any day. Here are a few pics:

So there I was minding my own business in the Amazon when a monkey climbed up on my lap. I thought about spanking it, but thought that might be inappropriate in front of the locals.

wow, awesome pics. I have always wanted to go to Brazil and get some of that action. But on my budget these days i just might have to go to florida and catch them.

It's a toss up on the next big trip being to Africa for plains game or going after monster black marlin!
