Has anyone ever been? Know anyone that has?
Would anyone be interested in going this May-July?

 Re: New Zealand duck hunting
Im in South East Asia right now. New job and had to move over here. Mostly been in Miri, Malaysia but will spend a lot of time in Singapore, Brunie, and the Philippines.
Anyway, bout them ducks. There are a lot of guide services in New Zealand, just do a google search. Saw one package that included turkey, duck, goose, trout and red stag for 1900.
Their duck season runs from May -July... Let me know

 Re: New Zealand duck hunting
Stag - trout - turkey - duck
Send 'em to La and let 'em debone and stuff one inside the other like a tur-duck-tren....
A few hours on a fire and I would try out a slice on whole wheat...
Ha Ha...

 Re: New Zealand duck hunting
It's not the cost of the guides in New Zealand as much as it is the cost to get there. Geeze-A-Loo!!! Plus, it's a 2 day trip. Yes, I checked in to it...

 Re: New Zealand duck hunting
I hear ya Capt! It takes me 2 days to get here and one day to get back, and thats from Shreveport to Singapore/Borneo. Auckland is another 9 hours from Singapore.
I have been looking for a guide service and a majority of them are 7-9 day hunts and include stuff like Fallow Deer and Red Stag. I could care less about them and the wallobys but really want to find some ducks and maybe trout.
If you happen accross anything I would appreciate it if you fwd me the info.
