Post fire
on my motor i made a custom intake with the mikuni carb and custom dual ss glasspacks... my question is when im idling one cyllinder shoots out a quick small flame out the muffler every so often and the other one doesn't. also when i rev it up it dosen't backfire but that quick flame gets much bigger out of that same muffler, is it normal that one cyllinder shoots out a flame and the other dosen't or what do you fellas think?

Just a thought, but maybe that cylinder is running a lot richer than the other one. Unburnt fuel igniting in the muffler. I would check valve adjustments and then do a leak down test on it. If thats all good take a look at the ignition components. How bout some pics of your custom intake?

Ill take some pics in the morning, so you dont think its a big deal? just some unburnt fuel, ill make the carb run more lean and see what happens

You can forward mount the carb but you need to angle the carb facing down so when you trim down all the way the carb sits level.... My carb is forward facing but my motor stays level all the time....
