I learned that from bailing off into unknown mudholes in my truck....
Don't be too proud to do a little recon. It will save you a lot of trouble in the long run!

After looking at all these pictures of boats stuck on dry land and in mud where there isn't hardly ANY water, I have to ask: Where in the hell did all you guys think you were going when there wasn't any water where your boat was headed? You ain't driving airboats. We don't have the mud up here like you guys run in, maybe in a few places but not like your pics show. I run in a lot of brush and cattails and I get tangled up bad enough with my long tail traveling at slow speeds. I know if I were to put a surface drive on my boat and go where I usually travel and "hit it" to see how far I could get through the stuff I run in, I'd be posting up pics like these also.  You make my day when I see these pictures.
