 Reverse on a Gator-Tail
Could someone tell me how to remove the reverse unit from the engine. This is a Gator-Tail unit.Thanks

Pull the reverse cover, start the reverse draining, take the caliper off and hang it up with a bungee, take the big bolt in the middle of the planetary off and pull the planetary out, pull the shaft extension off of the PTO shaft, take the 6 Allen head screws out of the inside of the ring gear that bolts to the pulley. Voiala. Reverse is off.

Just be careful with the allen head screws. Them mofos are in there good, make sure you have the correct allen head size.
