LDWF Feral Hog Control - Pearl River WMA & Sherburne WMA
Some believe this would lead to more poaching of deer on WMAs that's why they won't extend the season. I dunno myself.

Wild boat boars smell like piss and shit don't think I'll be eating any bit they are fun to shoot.. They should just let ppl hunt them that will fix it better than game wardens wasting our money on something we sportsman can handle

Nah, it's just word on the street. Who knows? I don't. I'm with y'all. If you could kill all the hogs you want, why shoot deer out of season.

Only on the wma's anywhere else you can hunt them all year long

There is seasons on some of the wma's here too, but you can shoot them while engaged in any legal hunting activities, which means you can pretty much shoot them year round most places, just have to use whatever means necessary for whatever season is open. Generally, you can't have a rifle in the woods during archery only seasons on the wma.

Re: LDWF Feral Hog Control - Pearl River WMA & Sherburne WMA
Me and the wife ran the pearl last weekend south of 90. Saw about 20 pigs back in the marsh all the way down by refuge. Never seen pigs that far south. 4 sows the rest young. With a 22 I could have put a whipping on them. But no season is open so you can't shoot them.
Dumb.
