 Re: Carb Kit
I'm sure you could go to a local bike shop and probably pick up a used carb for $100 from the right person.

 Re: Carb Kit
Lots of folks have stuff laying around that they'll pretty much give away just to get it out of the way. And others are capable of building things that most people only think they can get from one place. Just have to be patient and ask around. If you arent in a hurry, you never know what kind of stuff you'll come across. Jus sayin.

 Re: Carb Kit
You can take the stock gov arm and cut the long end off and use that for a gov block also. Best thing is that it's FREE!

 Re: Carb Kit
Now that you got me crunching numbers, i don't even think i have 200 in my first kit. Granted, that ain't gonna happen for everybody, but 500 would be pretty doable. The 450ish kit, we paid for pretty much everything and that included one part that cost a lil over a hundred bucks that most would not need (adapter for the cc rig that gives full travel on the control).

 Re: Carb Kit
Just as an FYI the new carbs don't come with a choke. They're now made to direct connect to the stock Harley choke cable and that's why you have to buy a choke. You can but a used carb and get lucky and not have to rebuild it but I'm not taking that chance

 Re: Carb Kit
Get off the choke too, the one I posted on EBAY has a choke, but if your shit running right, you don't need to choke it.
And it you got that one and for some reason had to rebuild it... $34 WOW
