I have to admit I was worried for a while, but this latest surge brought the figures over the top and from all accounts, looks like the magic demographic of young people signing up will hit its mark, too.

How many of those 7 million are millions that lost their coverage and are now paying higher premiums and deductibles? And what is 7 million? That doesn't make the program solvent.

Riiiiiiiight.....So I'm supposed to believe that after months of sources reporting that they would not hit the 7mill mark, soo much so that they had to alter the law (Again!) to extend the dedline, And that after repeated demecratic election failures due to obamacare causing the dems to panic right before elections. And now Im supposed to believe that miraculously they hit the 7mill mark as planned and that the numbers were not altered or lied about in any way; that this is in no way a political ploy to save thier mid terms and house seats.

What does the 7 mil mark mean? Answer me dean.... like I said 5.9 million lost plans and 33 mil were uninsured. Wtf does 7 million sign ups mean? By the way it is recognized that the number includes those in cue and the 20% that have not paid. So at this point we are paying more and have the same number of uninsured and a shit ton of chaos in the system. I'd say mission accomplished...... If you are trying to take more money from working stiffs......

By the time they start to get about 72% of your pay check back to the gov you guys are going to have the best health care in the world. I will say this again. 52% of ALL monies collected from our provincial gov Same as your state gov. Goes to pay for my shitty health care. Think about that. Anyone who thinks the gov can run health care better than priviate company's is a fool and the saying goes a fool and his money are soon parted.

The 7 million is an actuarial target. In other words, given the probabilities of people getting sick, the plan needs that many paying customers in order to succeed, not just become solvent, but succeed with healthy reserves.

There were some really smart people working on this so I'm confident they are right. Even as much as the web designers were bashed, they too accomplished near miracles to get the site up and running given the time constraints.

First of all, I find it interesting that for the last 6 months when the government has been asked how many have signed up for obamacare, nobody could seem to answer. Now not only will they tell you, but down to the decimal point. 7.1 million. What a joke.

Secondly, this is just like shopping on the internet. I can go to the cabelas website and put $5,000 worth of stuff in the shopping cart. But until I pay for it, it don't mean jack diddly. Once again , the democrat has proven how stupid he really is.

Dean you know damn well those models are bullshit. ... look at the models the cbo put out on the cost...... they are considered smart because they are manipulators of numbers..... it's all propaganda.... since 40% of the 7 million are subsidized, how is it solvent and a success?

Question from the bench for the defense. (of obamacare)

What would make any reasonably prudent and intelligent person think or more appropriately, argue, that the government could run health care? I cite previous examples of government mismanagement of other programs, let's start with social security, medicare, medicaid, the post office, the senate barber shop, the house bank, the highway trust fund, the white house gift shop, the va, and the list grows.
What select piece of evidence has the defense withheld from the court? Surely the defense hasn't relied on the past performance of the government to provide quality health care to the american people into the future.
Again, I ask, what makes one think that obamacare will be any different than any other bureaucratic morass?

Millions kicked off their plans had to sign up and an unknown number of people have not paid yet. Telling a lie and getting people to repeat the lie does not make it true

everyone who applied is poor and in need of free health care they wont have the money to support it.
