Kiss My Entire Ass!!!!!!!!!

Our season don't open till April 1. :(

On a good note I have several big birds strutting & talking loud. Good to see them spread their seed prior to me spreading a load of magnum 6's on they head. :D
Good job fellas. Keep hammerin that ass. ;)

Thanks. It's Only youth season where we hunt in Ok. Opener for reg season is the 6th of April. My 9 year old and buddy's boy got on the scoreboard today. We burned our property in Feb and the birds are responding nicely!

Post Re: Who is ready to kill some Thunder Chickens?
April 1st & 2nd were fun. Dad & I are headed fishing for the weekend. I have a few videos after the shot. Called up a bird for dad Tuesday afternoon. 5 big birds and after the shot I videoed the other 4 gobbling & whipping his ass. I didn't shoot as I wanted to go set up on some others & enjoy the show again. We did about an hour later. His 10.5"/1 1/4" and mine measured 10"/ one spur was 1 1/8" & other was broke off. Tuesday bird was 10"/ 1 1/8". Other was 9.5" and 1". This is not happening with the Easterns back in MS.

Time to take the wife or the neighbor. I had this one and 3 more less than 10 yards from me. They were between the decoy & me bowed up. Dad had to wait for them to separate and start walking away to shoot.
We have had a blast the last few days. Wishing I was heading to Ms this week to hunt some smart, spooky birds.

I've had a decent year so far. Killed 2. Jake was on private, Tom was public land. I consider myself a newbie to turkey hunting so I am enjoying this season.

#3 fell today during the worst part of a thunderstorm! The Lord gave me some rain and thunder so I could be a little more stealthy sneaking after these turkeys!
